وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبۡحٗا
WaalAAadiyati dabhanBy the racers, panting
- 2Verse 2
فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحٗا
Faalmooriyati qadhanAnd the producers of sparks [when] striking
- 3Verse 3
فَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبۡحٗا
Faalmugheerati subhanAnd the chargers at dawn
- 4Verse 4
فَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعٗا
Faatharna bihi naqAAanStirring up thereby [clouds of] dust
- 5Verse 5
فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا
Fawasatna bihi jamAAanArriving thereby in the center collectively
- 6Verse 6
إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٞ
Inna alinsana lirabbihi lakanoodunIndeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful
- 7Verse 7
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٞ
Wainnahu AAala thalika lashaheedunAnd indeed, he is to that a witness
- 8Verse 8
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
Wainnahu lihubbi alkhayri lashadeedunAnd indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense
- 9Verse 9
۞أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ
Afala yaAAlamu itha buAAthira ma fee alqubooriBut does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
- 10Verse 10
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ
Wahussila ma fee alssudooriAnd that within the breasts is obtained
- 11Verse 11
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّخَبِيرُۢ
Inna rabbahum bihim yawmaithin lakhabeerunIndeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted
